TIMELINE
OCT 2022 - NOV 2022

Formerly known as the “Biz Matchmaking grant”, I led the landing page redesign, suggested copy directions to align the website and brand, and cleaned up broken links to encourage a smooth browsing experience.

Pain points from the original user experience:

  • Grant applicants thought they were getting matched with a service provider from the B2B directory based on their grant needs.

  • Service providers were interested in adding their names in the B2B directory but they weren’t based in San Francisco.

  • From the preliminary interest survey, 30% of people were missing one or more requirements needed to participate in the grant program.

As a result of the new design,

  • There’s transparency throughout the site when the application is open

  • In-page anchor link navigation breaks down the contents of the page so you know what you’re scrolling through

  • Increased clarity among prospective grant applications regarding requirements and timelines

  • Updated broken links and encouraged browsing relevant pages throughout the site
