BACKGROUND
All Souls Day is a holiday honoring the dead widely celebrated in the Philippines. It is a public acknowledgment and an opportunity to celebrate those that came before and those that have transitioned on.
Balay Kreative, the arts hub of Kultivate Labs, created the Virtual Ancestor Altars as an extension of the in-person pop-up that takes place at Kapwa Gardens.
In this space, everyone can visit the person they hold dear at any time they wish.
